Collecting is a personal hobby, it expresses our interests and our tastes. Click on the following link to find out what our grade 5 students enjoy collecting :

The hobby of collecting includes seeking, locating, acquiring, organizing, cataloging, displaying, storing, and maintaining whatever items are of interest to the individual collector. Collections can differ in a wide variety of respects, most obviously in the nature and scope of the objects contained, but also in purpose, presentation, and so forth. The scope of collecting is unlimited, as expressed in the old adage, "If something exists, somebody somewhere collects them."

With an interactive whiteboard, The teacher is able to focus on the student's language production instead of technical issues.
The instructor can use the interactive whiteboard to overwrite, underline, highlight or circle the elements that he wants to emphasize. Because the document is typed, it is very readable, and it – along with changes and new emphases – can be saved and displayed again at any time.
Activities which support the learning process
When presented to the whole class, digital ressources can enhance oral interaction within the whole class. Pictures and text are shown without delay with the simple touch of a finger. This places the oral production in the target language in the foreground.
The correction of an exercices by the whole class gives everyone in the class the opportunity to improve their language skills. They may look for spelling or language mistakes and correct them by overwriting on the board. This helps to give them an eye for the language. They are more aware of linguistic elements when they try to figure out what is correct or incorrect in a language. This activity helps not only the original author of the work, but the whole group as well.
Students like to work on the interactive whiteboard! They love to use a board that can be operated simply by touch. They may even ask to be quizzed, simply for the fun of writing on the board. It brings true excitement to the classroom.

Mrs Salam told all the sections of grades five to do a project about touristic sights worldwide .First, she divided us by groups. We searched the information on internet individually. After we finished searching, we printed it and chose the suitable parts .Then we rewrote them in a simple way that suit us .The teacher corrected the information that we have written on a paper ,then we typed them on the computer ,printed them ,and searched for photos and printed them too. Then , we pasted them on a cardboard and finally we presented the project for the teacher and in front of our class .At the end the classroom’s corridors for everyone to see .
Here are examples of touristic sights :
The Forbidden City
Big Ben
The Eiffel tower
The white House
The great wall of China
London eyes
The pyramids of Egypt
Tala Harrouk Eb5 B
Question : If you had a chance to visit one of this famous sightseeing, which one would it be and why ?
